IMIDRO’s Lead and Zinc Production Increased
IMIDRO’s lead and zinc production (Angoran and Nakhlak Companies’ production) increased during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-November21, 2021).
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, Angoran Lead and Zinc Complex extracted 733,377 tons of minerals during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-November21, 2021) indicating 19 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
During the period under review, lead concentrate production of Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Company stood at 5,708 tons, registering 31 percent rise YOY.
Moreover, Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Company extracted 138,189 tons of minerals during the first eight months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-November21, 2021),up 271 percent YOY.
likewise, during the(October22-November21,2021),known as Aban, Nakhlak Lead and Zinc Complex produced 633 tons of lead concentrate and extracted 14,065 tons of lead to register 19 percent decrease and 260 percent growth YOY, respectively.
In this period, Angoran Lead and Zinc Complex extracted 76,065 tons of minerals indicating a 12 percent growth compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
