Iran, Japan Vow to Broaden Customs Cooperation
Iran and Japan signed an agreement to expand cooperation in customs affairs, Japanese embassy in Tehran announced.
"The agreement was signed in the Iranian capital earlier today between Japanese Ambassador to Tehran Aikawa Kazutoshi and Chairman of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Mehdi Mirashrafi," the Japanese embassy said in its official Twitter account.
"The agreement aims to provide administrative support for customs cooperation," it added.
Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi arrived in Tehran on Sunday morning.
He met and held talks with Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, and Secretary of Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani.
