More than 250,000 tons of basic commodities were cleared from Chabahar port, in the southeast of Iran during the first two months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-May 21), the director of cereals and commercial services of Chabahar Free Zone Organization announced.

The deputy managing director of Chabahar Free Zone Organization (CFZO) has said over 51.34 trillion rials (about $1.27 billion) of investment has been attracted in Chabahar Free Trade-Industrial Zone in the previous Iranian calendar year 1399 (ended on March 20), registering 322 percent rise year on year.
