The CEO of Avin Pouyan Palaab stated that we are implementing the plan to use non-conventional water resources in the steel industry and said: The membrane reactor method is the most up-to-date method today that treats wastewater through gravity sedimentation, and membrane filtration method is used in this project.
He stated: In this method, 100% of bacteria and 99% of viruses are removed. It is interesting to know that in Singapore, a project called new water has been implemented, based on which wastewater purified by membrane reactor method is used as drinking water.
Babajani stated that the water productivity index in the country is low and is 3 dollars, and said: This shows that the water in the country is not channelized towards industrial use and this should be put on the special agenda.
He stated: With this economic method, we will have a turnaround and reduce the social consequences in the water sector.
