Iran Produced 268000 Tons of Aluminum Ingots in 5 Months

Iran produced about 268000 tons of aluminum ingots during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21- August 22,2023).

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, aluminum ingot output of four major Iranian aluminum producer companies stood at 267,983 tons during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-August22, 2023), registering 1 percent decrease YOY.

During the period under review, SALCO has the lion’s share with 119,886 tons of aluminum ingot production followed by IRALCO with 71,984 tons, ALMAHDI with 60,778 tons and Iran Alumina Company with 15,335 tons.
Alumina Powder Production Up

Likewise, Iran Alumina Company produced an aggregate of 99,473 tons of alumina powder during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year (March21-August 22, 2023), up 1% YOY.
during this period, the company’s bauxite production stood at 199,192 tons.
