Construction of Lamerd Special Economic Zones’ Second Petrochemical Complex Started
During President Ebrahim Raisi and Government Delegations visit to Fars Province, construction of Lamerd Special Economic Zones’ Second Petrochemical Complex was started
According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, this project provides the situation for the activity of other investors and with the arrangements and support of the Oil Ministry in providing feed, during the exploitation period, as well as the support of Industry, Mine and Trade Ministry and IMIDRO in providing infrastructure, the petrochemical industry of this potential region has entered a new period of development.
Korosh Fattahi, CEO of Lamerd Special Economic Zone said: with an area of more than 400 hectares, refinery site, downstream and midstream petrochemical zone of Lamard Special Economic Zone is predicted to construction and industrial loads of five million tons of petrochemical products.
He added that Lamerd Special Economic Zone’s second petrochemical complex is located in a land with an area of over 100,000 square meters in three phases and according to the schedule it will be built in three to four years. likewise, during the operation period, 350 direct and 2500 indirect jobs will be created.
