Martyr Ahmad Kazemi power plant of Mobarakeh Steel Company was launched as the first class F power plant unit of the industry in the presence of the President.
Following Ebrahim Raisi's visit to Mobarakeh Steel Company, the first gas phase of Martyr Ahmad Kazemi power plant, the first class F power plant unit of the industry, was launched by the President.
The purpose of building this power plant is to supply Mobarakeh Steel with stable electricity and to help solve the imbalance and supply energy in the national grid.
The first gas phase of this power plant was designed and built with the record of construction in less than 18 months and with the participation of 72 Iranian companies with an investment of 200,000 billion Rls.
"Martyr Ahmad Kazemi" power plant of Mobarakeh Steel Company consists of two gas units of 307 MW, one steam unit of 300 MW and 2 heat recovery boiler units, which can produce a total of 914 MW of electricity per hour.
Currently, there is a 10,000 megawatt electricity imbalance in the whole country, which will be compensated by about 10% of this power plant by Mobarakeh Steel.
In the construction of this power plant, the latest technology has been used, and with 58% efficiency, it is the highest efficiency among existing power plants in the country.
Stable supply of energy in Mobarakeh Steel Company, reduction of concerns about power outages especially during peak consumption, reduction of environmental pollutants, especially carbon by 15%, and a significant reduction in the amount of water and gas consumption for electricity production are among the notable features of this project.
