1st shipment of Iranian oil products exported from Khorramshahr port to UAE

Director-general of Khorramshahr Ports and Maritime Department said the first shipment of oil products to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has been loaded and exported from the southwestern Iranian port.

According to Ali Askari, the mentioned products were exported by four 2,500-ton vessels and in four stages of loading due to traffic restrictions in the Arvand waterway, the portal of the Iranian Transport Ministry reported.
Referring to the suitable and multifaceted facilities and infrastructure in Khorramshahr port, Askari said: “The export of oil products from Khorramshahr port to the UAE, in addition to creating direct and indirect employment for local people, will lead to business prosperity.”
