Production of Iron ore Concentrate Rises 6% in 9 Months

Iron ore concentrate output of major Iranian mining companies during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21 to December 21, 2023) grew 6 percent y/y.

According to the report of Public Relations of IMIDRO, 9 major Iranian mining companies produced 38,152,936 tons of Iron ore concentrate during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-December 21, 2023), indicating 6 percent rise compared to the corresponding period of the last year.


Gol_e_Gohar Mining and Industrial Complex accounted for 8,713,743 tons of the total output, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Complex with 8,040,107 tons, Goharzamin Iron ore Company with 6,658,535 tons, Middle East Mines and Mining Industries Development Holding Company with 3,627,921 tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company with 2,947,939 tons, Iran Central Iron ore Company with 2,885,357 tons, Sanabad Development Company with 1,969,442 tons, Opal Parsian Sangan with 1,933,640 tons, Saba Nour Mining and Industrial Development Company with 1,058,020 tons and Jalalabad Iron ore Company with 318,232 tons.

Iron ore concentrate dispatch

Moreover, Iran’s major mining companies dispatched 13,859,407 tons of Iron ore concentrate during the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (from March 21to December 21, 2023), indicating 19 percent growth compared to the same period of the previous year.
these companies during the ninth month of the current Iranian Year Known as Azar produced 4,753,450 tons of Iron ore concentrate and dispatched 1,490,754 tons of these products, registering 23 percent growth and 8 percent decrease y/y respectively.
