Aluminum Ingot Production Rises%24.4

Iran’s aluminum ingot production during the first five months of the current Iranian calendar year registered a 24.4 percent growth YoY.

According to the report of public relations of IMIDRO, aluminum ingot output of 4 major Iranian aluminum producer companies stood at 217,653 tonnes during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March21-August22, 2021),up %24.4 YoY.

IRALCO has the lion’s share with 75,873 tonnes of aluminum ingot production followed by SALCO with 63,149 tonnes, ALMAHDI with 62,944 tonnes and Iran Alumina Company with 15,687 tonnes.

Bauxite Production Up

Iran Alumina Company produced 419,616 tonnes of bauxite during the first five months of current Iranian year (March21-August22, 2021), up %29YoY.
Moreover, the company’s alumina powder production during the mentioned period stood at 96,528 tonnes registering a 6 percent decrease compared with the corresponding period of the last year.
