New Opportunities for Foreign Investors in Iran’s Mine Sector

IMIDRO’s ongoing exploration projects will prepare new investment opportunities for foreign investors in mine and mining industries sector, Chairman of the board of IMIDRO said.

Exploration projects have been started since 2 years ago. Also, results of new exploration projects will be shown during the next 2 or 3 years. These new projects will prepare new reserves for development of this sector, Karbasian explained.
New proven reserves and preparation of development plans in mine and mining industries will provide new investment opportunities for foreign investors to attend in this sector. However foreign investors conducted negotiations about the current plans, he added.

Karbasian said that investment in infrastructure development especially in ground transportation, railways and maritime are necessary for realization of macro objectives in mine and mining industries sector in Iran. Karbasian invited foreign investors to cooperate and invest in development of these infrastructures.
