MP: Together We Can Strategy has paid off at MSC

After inspecting MSC’s production lines, Dr. Aghapour Alishahi, who is also a member of parliament’s Economy Committee, said, “It was important for us to get familiar, first hand, with the problems the country’s steel sector, especially in Isfahan Province, is grappling with and at the same time see if the stage is set for conducting comparative studies in the province. We seek to weigh shortages and advantages to give a leg-up to synergy in the industry sector.
“We also wanted to get familiar with the country’s technological potential, especially in the steel sector, and with the existing capabilities which can be tapped to meet domestic demand. It was very important to me, as an MP, to see for myself the potential and capabilities of Mobarakeh Steel Company, which is the country’s largest producer of steel and steel sheets,” she added.
During the visit, she said, order at the systematic production lines of the company, managerial approach to the staffers and implementation of expansion projects stood out. “Admittedly, adoption of endogenous policies, which is an upside of Mobarakeh Steel Company, has left an indisputable impact on its exogenous policies.”
The MP praised MSC’s organizational integrity as another advantage of the company and said different parts of MSC complete each other’s work. “Accordingly, the company’s sales and marketing department supports efforts by the personnel of production lines, and thanks to adoption of proper marketing strategies, products are made based on the orders customers place before they are shipped to the market.”
The Together We Can strategy has been institutionalized in all parts of Mobarakeh Steel Company, she said, adding MSC serves as a bridge which helps all industries in the country cross the valley of recession without plunging into it. “MSC can be introduced as a successful economic pilot plan in the country. As it has been evident at different junctures, this company has managed to get positive results despite numerous restrictions it has faced in different periods of time.”
As a company involved in a parent industry, Mobarakeh Steel Company has always been and will always be a source of pride, Aghapour Alishahi said. “In retrospect, the company’s record shows that it has successfully navigated the bottlenecks it has run into in the course of its history. In the present circumstances, Mobarakeh Steel Company is the Socrates of the industry sector in the real sense of the word.”
The fact that MSC has had a successful presence in global markets as a result of boosting the quality of its products has helped it rise to the occasion and overcome challenges, she said. “It has also set the stage for the company to follow an upward trend and serve the interests of its stakeholders and the entire country.”
Thanks to the measured strategies of MSC management and the zeal of its staff, the company has remained on the path to perfection under any circumstances, the MP further said.
In response to a question as to how the country’s small and big industries can be propped up, she said, “In light of the fact that access to bank loans and financial resources is a major problem in the industry sector, as members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, we will do our level best to clear the way for the industries to have access to financial support they need, both at home and abroad. We will also do what it takes to clear the hurdles standing in the way of Iranian industries acquiring and accessing modern technologies.”
