Iran, Denmark Cooperation in Knowledge Transfer
Ehdasse Sanat and FLSmidth companies signed Memorandum of Understanding aimed to cooperation in technical knowledge transfer in cement industry, training experts and joint venture.
In the framework of this Memorandum of Understanding FLSmidth will cooperate with Ehdasse Sanat in technology transfer, training Iranian experts especially in private sector and joint venture.101 cement production line with one million tons annual production capacity are working in Iran.
Ehdasse Sanat Company during the recent years became very successful in developing export of technical and engineering knowledge and put in to operation the first cement production plant in Venezuela with 1 million tones capacity.
This Memorandum of Understanding aimed to cooperation between Ehdasse Sanat and FLSmidth companies were signed with attendance of, Chairman of IMIDRO, Mehdi Karbasian. Ehdasse Sanat Company is one of the subsidiary companies of IMIDRO.
Iran in many years ago did not has the technology of cement production. FLSmidth founded cement production in Iran and now Iran has high abilities in cement industry, Karbasisn announced.
Karbasian noted that neighbor countries need cement for their construction activities and it’s a good opportunity for Iran to supply cement for these countries in the region .During the next 5 to 10 years ,cement consumption in Iran and regional countries will increase ,so cooperation between IMIDRO and FLSmidth can be developed.
IMIDRO is ready to cooperate with FLSmidth in mine sector activities such as extraction and processing of Coal, Copper, Aluminum, Nickel, Chromite and Rare Earth Elements, he continued.
Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) includes 10 countries in the region and if FLSmidth willing to have cooperation with these countries, we will prepare the situation, Karbasian expressed.
Thomas Schulz Chairman of FLSmidth noted that this is a new era in Iran and FLSmidth relations and commercial activities with Iran and its neighbor countries is our future project and with cooperation of each other Iran could be as cement production and distribution centre among countries in the region. In order to achieve this goal FLSmidth’s office in Iran will be opened.
