Required facilities and infrastructures have been prepared for construction of Aluminum downstream park in the vicinity of South Aluminum, CEO of Lamerd Special Economic Zone announced.

Due to the emphasis of chairman of the board of IMIDRO and intersectional cooperation, necessary infrastructures are ready for construction and development of Aluminum downstream industries as well as other industries that provides a golden opportunity for investors in this sector, noting implementation of South Aluminum project in Lamerd, Seyed Abolhassan Haghayeghi added.

The situation has been prepared for region to advance in energy intensive industries due the supply of water, electricity, gas and other required infrastructures for implementation of huge projects in Lamerd Special Economic Zone, as well as other privileges such as access to road axes, energy resources, having skilled and efficient workforce, he expressed.
He noted the allocation of 300hectars land and required infrastructures in order to construction of Aluminum downstream industries and said synergistic and benefit from regional capacities and capabilities led to complete readiness of investors for participation in these industries.
Aluminum industry include will include huge power plants, production line and downstream industries. So, completion of this chain will result in remarkable profit in production sector, Haghayeghi said.
It is predicted that construction of comprehensive Aluminum industry park including downstream industries in the vicinity of plant that there will be the possibility of buying the molten Aluminum instead of Aluminum ingot, He continued.
Based on predictions, first phase of south Aluminum project with initial funding of 1.2 billion dollars will be operated in Iranian year 1397(2018-2019).The operation of first phase of south Aluminum project will led to 5000 direct employment ,he added.
