Inauguration and Operation of Mining Industries Projects in P.G.S.E.Z

Inauguration and investment in several mines and mining industries projects have been conducted in the 11th government, CEO of P.G.S.E.Z announced.

Some of these projects are installation of equipment of jetty expansion project in order to increase from 6 to 12 million tonnes, inauguration of jetty expansion project, executive operation of Mobasher Nour Darya rolling mill and steel production unit with 5.1 million tonnes annual production capacity, Hassan Khalaj Tehrani said.

Starting executive operations of Persian Gulf Saba steel ‘s DRI unit with 5.1 million tonnes annual production, inauguration of 2nd phase of South Kaveh Steel aimed at 5.2 million tonnes annual production are the other mining industries projects in P.G.S.E.Z, he continued.

He mentioned launching executive operations of South Kaveh Steel pelletizing plant with annual production capacity of 5 million tonnes, starting executive operations of first phase of Maad chemistry iron ore concentrate with production capacity of 5.2 million tonnes per year, launching executive operations of Hormoz 235 power plant (Qadir energy and Oxin companies) as the other projects.

CEO of P.G.S.E.Z added that another projects are inauguration of the first phase of SKS desalination unit with production capacity of 55 thousand cubic meters, inauguration of Foman Shimi bitumen production with annual production of 300 thousand tonnes, completion of executive operation of the largest electricity station in country230-400kw with 30 km transmission lines and telescopic towers with 3km length, lunching executive operations of construction of circumferential roads and development site fence.
