Reconnaissance Phase of all Exploration Projects Finished
Reconnaissance phases of all IMIDRO’s exploration projects finished and prospecting and general exploration results of some projects are promising as well, Director of IMIDRO’s exploration department announced.
There are 22 exploration areas in Golestan, Markazi, South Khorasan, Kurdistan, Sistan and Baluchistan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiary, Zanjan, East Azerbaijan and Kermanshah provinces which their reconnaissance phases have been finished, Ali Asgharzadeh said.
Conducting exploration projects of the said above areas have been assigned to IMIDRO by Industry, Mine and Trade Ministry.
He added that total exploration areas are 254 thousand and 789 square kilometers and totally there are 440 promising areas.
