According to me-metals, on the sidelines of the ceremony to honor the top researchers of Isfahan province, which was held on the occasion of Research Week in the Great Prophet Hall of Isfahan University, Masoud Haratian, Director of Research and Innovation at Mobarakeh Steel, referring to the selection of Mobarakeh Steel as the top research employer of Isfahan province, said in an interview with the Steel Reporter: This success is the result of a systematic, continuous, and forward-looking approach to the development of Mobarakeh Steel's research, technology, and innovation.
He further added: Mobarakeh Steel considers research to be one of the fundamental pillars of realizing its major strategies and has the continuation and strengthening of research and development activities seriously on its agenda.
Referring to the scope of Mobarakeh Steel's research and development activities, the Director of Research and Innovation at Mobarakeh Steel noted: "Since the beginning of Mobarakeh Steel's establishment, there has been a research and development unit in the organizational structure of this complex, and this approach shows that research and innovation are deeply rooted in this large industrial complex."
He continued: "So far, more than 1,350 research and technological projects have been defined and implemented at Mobarakeh Steel, a significant portion of which have been carried out with the participation of universities and research centers in the country, especially in Isfahan province."
Emphasizing the development of structured cooperation with universities, Haratian stated: "In order to streamline research processes and facilitate effective interaction with the country's scientific community, Mobarakeh Steel has entered into open research contracts with appropriate budgets with most universities in Isfahan province and many universities and research centers in the country."
He acknowledged: "This approach has paved the way for faster project definition and targeted response to industry needs, or receiving research ideas and transforming them into agile research implementation contracts with the university."
In conclusion, the Director of Research and Innovation of Mobarakeh Steel, referring to the role of research in the future of the steel industry, added: "Continuing, strengthening and developing research activities is one of Mobarakeh Steel's central programs on the path to achieving its major goals. In this regard, extensive communication with research networks in Isfahan province and developing academic cooperation, as in the past, is pursued as a sustainable strategy."
It is worth mentioning that this ceremony was held on Wednesday, January 23, 2025, in the Great Prophet Hall of Isfahan University, in the presence of the Governor of Isfahan, the President of Isfahan University, and other provincial officials.
